In the same day, we had visited the Sounds, made a big BBQ, felt warm in the hot tub and watching a DVD in the tv room; one of best days in our trip! Thanks 😉
a really amazing place with friendly environment! this place feels like home! the hosts are extremely friendly and helpful! here are plenty of stuff in the kitchen, couches to sit and hang around, place is very clean, the showers have hot water and on top of everything free wifi and ice-cream with pudding at 8pm
I really have had a wonderful time here with my bestfriend once. The environment here make the unconditional love and the atmosphere is beautiful, famous Malborough Sounds. Thanks for the hot chocolate!

I had the BEST time at Sequoia Lodge, planed for a one night stay arriving on south island, ended up staying for 3 month – truly a home away from home!!!!
I strongly recommend the Sequoia Lodge for your stay at Picton. This hostel is very clean and cozy. They have a wonderful outdoor hot tub, which is secluded. I really enjoy the privacy, fresh air and stars in the sky. In front of the hostel, there is the Nelson Square, where you can run, play football and rugby. The most important thing is Graeme, Lynley and Tim are really really nice ^-^.
It was a great time to stay and woof at the Sequoia Lodge. I liked the cosy and warm atmosphere and the location in the beatiful Malborough Sounds. Thanks for all Lynley, Tim and Graeme!
